Buddha Vajradhara

Vajradhara is the primordial buddha, the dharmakaya buddha in the ‘Sarma’ (new translation) schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Vajradhara, depicted as dark blue in colour, expresses the quintessence of buddhahood itself and is the essence of the historical Buddha’s realization of enlightenment.
