Palden Lhamo

A fierce, wrathful form of the enlightened Buddhas who acts as a Dharma Protector, protecting sincere practitioners from harm, obstacles and so forth. Sometimes, wrath (the appearance of anger motivated by love and compassion) is required to deal effectively with a person or situation. Some might call this "tough love".
