Shri Kalachakra

Kalachakra (trans. ‘Wheel of Time’) is a major practice deity within the Indian and Tibetan Buddhist traditions. It was the last Tantra taught by the Buddha and represents the culmination of all Buddhist practices that can lead one to full enlightenment in one human lifetime if practiced with devotion and diligence.

As with many deities, Kalachakra is depicted slightly differently according to differing lineages. This image was produced under the direction of Jhado Rinpoche, a modern master of the practice, and Andy Wistreich and was sponsored by a faithful disciple.
